You are considering a vintage 1891 Carcano Full-Length Stock. It’s in good condition and has moderate wear from usage, storage, and handling. The woodwork is holding up nicely and has not been refinished — it has a number of standard dings and pockmarks found on military rifles — no major cracks (note: there is a crack on the right-hand side of the stock near where the rear sight is mounted). It measures 47.25-inches in length and includes its rear sling swivel and rare full-length top wood.
Note: This stock has a boxed VVV on the right-hand side of the stock. According to what little information we can find, this relates to the Greek civil war and the use of these rifles during it.
